A different side of my photography . . .

I enjoy looking past what at first glance might seem obvious. I can spend an inordinate amount of time with a single flower, lighting it, un-lighting it, turning it around, looking at it from different angles, and then lighting it again. I tend to chase shadows too. I’ve been stopped in my tracks any number of times as a shadow crosses my path and catches my eye. I find a quiet space in the process of taking photos - a meditation of sorts.

My hope is to inspire you, to invite you to look more closely - to find the beauty in the everyday places that if we don’t stop and notice, will surely pass us by.
