BEAUTY DANCING WITH TIME

In these images, I’m capturing the delicate beauty of flowers—not in their prime, but in their fading and transformation. Older and wilting blooms carry a particular kind of beauty that becomes a metaphor for aging, resilience, and the quiet elegance of imperfection.

Much like a flower, a woman's beauty transforms over time, but the innate beauty remains. The act of decaying itself is a rich narrative, one that speaks directly to transformation.

As a woman who is past what is considered ‘middle-aged’ working with this project has forced me to reconsider what beauty is. And the many ways in which it thrives in its imperfections, changes, and in its timeless presence. And more than anything, I’ve come to realize that society's preoccupation with youth and beauty can not be the only definition of what beauty is and what beauty will become.
